Quick Update-Holidays are coming

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Grand Haven. Grandma and Grandpa Carlson, Mom and Dad, Shaun, Mikiala and Taden....and of course all of us. It was a house full at Moms and it was warm and wonderful. Food was perfect! Dan went home late in the evening.
We made christmas cookies, relaxed and played all day on Friday and Mom and Dad took us home Saturday morning.




Jami and I headed to target at 10pm to conquer black Friday. I was only a few people away from my new TV. HOwever, I did get the kids all done. They will have everything they want....like always.

When we returned home on Saturday we arrived to two amazing things...the first...an old friend waiting for us. The fourth year of muddles returning. He was there waiting on the shelf. Since then he has caused a little mischief this year. Hiding in crazy places, playing with toilet paper, getting into ornaments and toothpaste. You just never know with that crazy muddles. The kids both still enjoy talking to him before bed and waking to find him in the morning.

The second...was a deer! Woohoo....dan got a deer Saturday morning. I was starting to get worried....but we have VENISON!!!



We also went and got our tree. We love Badgers in Lawerence. Riding behind the horses to get dropped off and find the perfect tree. This year tyler chopped it down all by himself. Of course it was a little weird with no snow.




That evening was a little crazy tryin to put it up. Running out of lights I had to run to kalamazoo. Of course Walmart and Menards were out.... ended up at Meijer. When I got home the lights went up, ornaments went on and stockings were hung. OUr house was ready for Christmas!
