A little catch up
Schools out but things haven't slowed down for a minute. After our trip to Grand Haven we cleaned out the camper and went camping for a week with Amber, Ross and the kids. Not that it stopped the baseball practiced and games.
We are now home. Camper cleaned out, laundry done and put away, and the layer of filth has been washed off. However, still not slowing down! Sam started Girl Scout camp this evening (5:30-8:00) all week. Tylers first all star tournament is done (and it was a rough one, but they had fun) and looks like we have a little break before the next one starts. I think tomorrow will be the very first day that we are going to stay home (atleast until we need to bring Sam to camp).
Camping with Amends before they leave for Washington was fantastic. The kids had so much fun. The smiles and memories are priceless that is for sure! Pictures to come!
Tyler is still learning how to deal with a loss. Unfortunately, this tournament was hard. He played his heart our and did fantastic in left field. But ALL the boys need some batting practice...and maybe the Hartford tournament will go better. We sure love coach Mike tho- the guy has energy for days, a heard of gold, and wants nothing but the best for all the boys.
Sam was so stinking excited to start camp tonight. The girl loves her crafts and friends. My little social butterfly. I can't wait to hear all about it! She started asking when we were going to leave as soon as she woke up this morning. She even let me do her hair!
The house is coming along. We got the driveway figured out....no more getting stuck! Yard is still sand and we have junk for days. But between the running around, activities and our planned trips we will tackle it, little by little.
Mom's hanging in there. The rough round of chemo is over....now we are hoping the next round is better.
Rob is coming HOME on the 30th of the month. I am sure Sara and Chella are excited to get daddy home.
Life is good in this little farm town! Always lots to do.
