New Years Eve

Ice Skating was fun for Sam...not Tylers thing! After skating we went to the Eccentric Cafe for lunch and then toured Bells. It was a nice afternoon hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa Dingy.
Unfortuately the evening didn't end as well. While having dinner Grandpa got a call from Aunt Carol. Grandma Nuismer was in the hospital and things had gotten progressively worse through out the day. She had gone in for pnemonia and it seemed she had a seizure. Grandma and Grandpa had to run back to GH. The kids didn't understand so they were really upset. Sam crying and Tyler quiet in his room, until his tears started too. It was a rough way to spend New Years Eve...but after talking to the kids they understood that mommy's grandma was sick and Grandpa had to go home to help. They knew that mommy was upset and we were going to have a quiet night. Sam and I did crafts and Dan and Tyler played battleship. We ended the night ALL of us in our bed....kids and I fell asleep at 11:45...Dan made it to see the ball drop.
