Just a little update
This winter has been crazy. With only two weekends with snow and only one snowday not much has been going on. Tyler has started Karate at Cedar Street and really enjoying it. Sam tried but it wasn't her thing. An hour of karate was a little much for a 4 year old. HOwever, Tylers intense desire to learn and his ability to focus, it is perfect.
Tyler had 2 birthday parties last weekend so for the first time ever, Samantha and I went to Grand Haven, just the two of us. My grandma Nuismer fell a couple weeks ago and wasn't doing so well. I wanted to get home to visit her. It was strange not having my Tyler Bret around but it was also nice being just Sam and I. Grandma, Grandpa, Sam and I spent the afternoon shopping and visiting Grandma N. After all that we hit up Culvers for dinner (Sams favorite place). Then Uncle Shaun, Mikiala and Taden stopped over to play. While at home in Lawton, Grandma Tonda, Dan and Tyler had a movie night. Grandma T even picked up real movie popcorn from the Strand on the way over.
Sam just went to the dr. for a planters wart on her poor little toe. She was a champ of course. Dan took her and he said she was awesome. I took the afternoon off so she didn't have to go to daycare but she was absolutley fine. I just hate not being there for every appointment. Made me feel better coming home to her.
We have started the process of moving...kinda. Realtor has been here and we are heading in the direction of trying to sell. We will see where we end up.
Not much new with me...work is work. There is another story to tell everyday with these crazy kids. Dan is on the downslide of first shift, just a few more weeks. Hopefully after Spring Break.
Charlie has been fixed so hopefully the vet bills will stop for awhile. We love her to pieces. Sam and Tyler love on her so much we sometimes have to tell them to stop. Unfortunately, I do not see LIzzy and Charlie becoming friends anytime soon.
Life is good!
