Lily

I know I am nuts...I know that once again I am creating work for myself. But it was time for a puppy...well atleast Tyler and I thought so! I miss Massey like crazy and think about he a ton. Since, we can't ask for her back it was time for another. So,on our way home from the "adult" tubing trip up in Grant we stopped (camper and all) in Muskegon to check out some Great Dane puppies...we have never just "looked" at anything...hence, the boat, snowmobiles, and camper. So, we came home with our lily pad! We arrived at my moms with puppy in hand...Tyler was excited and Sam was hoping it was staying at Grandmas.

She is a Blue Merle, Great Dane. She was 7 weeks old and super little (8 lbs)...I understand that won't last long. We love her already...pooop and all!

Stitches

I would love to post pictures but Tyler won't have anything to do with a camera coming near him right now. This has been quite and ordeal!
Monday I had to do some ovservations at VBISD. Therefore, I sent the kids to Kristi's. When I checked my phone at noon Tonda had called 4 times. When I called her she was on her way to wake Dan because Kristi had called her and let her know Tyler had fallen and split his chin open. I then called Kristi and she believed he needed stitches. When I arrived it had stopped bleeding and he had a wash cloth on his chin which he would not take off to let me see. So, we just headed home, calm him down and go from there. When I finally looked it was gross enough that I woke up dan and called the dr. letting them know we were coming in. Dan took Tyler and he arrived home with four blue stitches and pissed off. He was completely upset about us taking him to the dr. I am not sure he has forgiven us yet.
Can't wait to get them out on MOnday.

He was playing on a four wheel toy (meant for 2 year olds) and of course he went over the handle bars. Total accident...but being Tyler...he was hurt!

Sorry, Tyler but when your sleeping I am going to try and get a couple pictures. We have to have a picture kid!!!
My Dad got the picture...thanks

Two wheels

We went to Courtney's the other day and Tyler got on the "german bike" of course...but then he hopped on Cammy's bike. She doesn't have training wheels but it is a much smaller bike than Tylers. Courtney said she would work with him...and he did it. He rode the dora bike perfect!
So, last night we took the training wheels off his bike and off he went. What a big boy...can't believe it. And he is so dang proud too! Everytime I think about how happy he was it makes me smile...
