A7X Concert~Kellogg Arena

Dan and I, along with Courtney and Jeremy went to the Avenged Sevenfold concert. Buckcherry, Saving Abel and Papa Roach were there too. It was a great time. A few weeks ago I got the itch for a rock concert, something Dan and I both could enjoy. BOY did we. I had a blast...we were on the floor up close and personal with everyone there. We all had a blast! It was the first time the four of us have been together without kids.

It was hot, smokey and super loud!

Yes, this is me crowd surfing!

Update

For the record book-
Sam is talking like crazy. Her sweet little voice makes you smile. Her "I do" and "NO NO Tyler" is hilarious. It makes me laugh when she looks under daddy's door and says "daddy awake?". She wants to do everything herself. She is so independent from what Tyler was and still is. She is finally playing with her babies, feeding, changing diapers and clothes. It is so cute when she hugs them and rubs there backs. I can't believe how big she has gotten so fast. She is EXTREMELY tall, which isn't a surprise. She towers over the girls at daycare that are double her age. She is wearing 2T, 6 months before Tyler did. She tries to dress herself but both legs always go in the same hole and boots go on the wrong feet. She has experimented with the potty but nothing for real. I think the times she did pee she surprised herself too. She is a precious monster...she will cuddle one minute and tell you no the next. Her big blue eys and long eyelashes make you melt when she cries. I put pig tails in her hair the other day and they finally drooped. My little girl who I once thought wouldn't have hair has droopy blonde pig tails and they are so darn cute.
Tyler is ready for his birthday he said he wants a boat like grandma and grandpa dingy....I don't think that will happen. We have talked about buying him his first dirt bike but I don't know how into that he is, or is it mom and dads want? So, we might wait unless we find a great deal. The kids has everything! He is really into his linkin logs and building houses with Dad. We always have towns all over our living room. He can write his name, spell mom, dad, cat and a few other words. We have all his artwork from Church on the wall and he is enjoying learning at church which makes me so happy. I want both of my kids to grow up and enjoy church and I think we found the church in Freshwater that will make that happen. Dan even likes listening to Troy speak. It is great family time.
We have our tickets for Oregon and Tyler is excited about going to the mountain and playing with Uncle Jim and Uncle Rob. We know we are white water rafting and I would like to try and rock climb. So it should be an adventure.
I started school and will be done with my first class in a week. I am enjoying my Monday evenings to myself.
Dan is heading to the U.P this weekend for a snowmobiling trip with my dad, brother and Tonda. I think this will be the last of the season.
I don't think there is anything new other than that.

Tubing

Every year Welch's has a tubing trip, we have never gone before. This year we decided to join, but of course it couldn't be that easy. We dropped Sam off at Grandma Tondas and the three of us headed to Timberridge. This is where we tubed with Tyler last year. Unfortunately, rules have changed. We arrived only to be told Tyler was to small. I was going to have to look at Tyler and some how explain to him we weren't tubing today. I got a lump in my throat and wanted to cry...how was he going to handle this? He did well, I explained that rules had changed and they didn't want him hurt. He started to cry but it didn't last long. He handled it much better than I wanted to. In the mean time Dan and a lady from Welch's came up with a plan B. A lady Dan works with mentioned Echo Valley. Echo Valley has tubing and tobagoning...it was only 1/2 hour away. We called...no age or height limit! We had a blast and Tyler was happy.
