Home from the Mountain

We finally met Ms. Chella. Sam was so excited to finally play with her and Tyler couldn't wait to see Uncle Rob. It was a great week, Ice cream, baseball, and a party at the farm. Its always hard to say good bye after a great visit.

After Sams rehersal we went to Grandma Tonda's for dinner and to walk and release all Daddy and Uncle Robs turtles from there fishing trip earlier in the day.

Party at the Farm

Kindegarten Performance

Tyler had his kindegarten performance while I was in DC. Dan recorded it and took a few pictures. He said it was adorable. Tyler was so proud watching the video with me. He still sings "Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun please shine down on me"!

Here I go.

Its been a long time coming. I am going to Washington DC for 5 days. I have never left the kids this long. My stomach is in knots and tears are about to come. With Rob/Sara/Chella coming to town right when I get back, along with banquets, dance recitals and the end of the school year coming fast I decided to take a personal day today. I have to be in Coloma at 3:30 so this morning I took the kids to daycare and school. I arragned to pick Tyler up for a special McDonalds lunch with mom and made sure he made it back in time for recess. I got groceries and snacks for Dan and the kids. Laundry is all done, clothes laid out for the week! Tylers kindegarten performance is Thursday and I have the camera/video ready.
I know they will be just fine without mom, but it is difficult to leave for so long. I love my family!
Hopefully I will be missed.

Spring Project

What a project! To finish the deck we needed a cement path from the stairs to the driveway. So, mothers day Dan ran to menards picked up 30 bags of cement and came home to tackle it. A second trip to Menards for 10 more bags, a lot of mixing in a wheel barrow, and a sore body.....it looks perfect! I am so happy and Dan is too.
It was a perfect day. THe kids played, I planted flowers and we had steaks for dinner.

Dance Pictures

It was 1:30, prime nap time, the costume was itchy, we had painted nails and done her hair, and there were tons of people. Thank goodness for Ms. Kim because pictures almost didn't happen for this little girl. She was so tired but we made it thru! She was absolutely beautiful...even with tissues in her outfit to help with the itching.

First Baseball Game

It was wet and cold but it didn't stop the kids from having a blast. Tyler got some GREAT hits and really dirty. Tyler got is the car and couldn't stop talking. He said it was the best night EVER! With Dan coaching a two of his best friends on the team...he is a happy boy.
