Daycare Easter Egg Hunt

(OUT OF ORDER A BIT)
Seriously, I have the best daycare ever. It has been a year since we started at Shannon's and its been the greatest! I still get all sappy when I think about what a blessing these girls have been for not only Tyler and Sam but for us all. Thursday after school was the annual daycare easter egg hunt. 1000's of eggs all over!

This is the daytime group.

Here are the "daycare" kids with the "school" kids

Easter at the Farm

This picture is so cute....However, its Tyler in time out for not listening.

The kids have so much fun out at the farm. Besides playing with cousins they get to run around outside. Thank you, Lord for the sunshine!

Easter Morning

Tyler slept in his own bed ALL night because he heard the Easter Bunny open our refrigerator door and get the eggs out. He didn't want to get out of bed and scare him away. Good thing because he left easter baskets full of goodies.
AFter finding eggs having breakfast we were off....church and then the farm.

Girls Night

Friday night, Debbie, Laurie, Jami, Jen and I met in South Haven for dinner and laughs. We of course had a great dinner and they showed up with flowers for finishing school. I am so lucky to have such great friends.

Coloring Eggs

Tuesday night we colored eggs. After going to see the movie HOP this past weekend it made coloring eggs even more fun. You can tell which ones are Sams....Ms. Pinkalicious.

Pirate Ship

When we went to Florida 2 years ago Tyler found a treasure on the beach. So, when we found this pirate ship we had to make a morning trip! The kids had a great time and so did we. There were 4 pirates, they did a great show, played games and even shot off a canon. We saw dolphin and had a great view of Estero Island from the Gulf. The kids got their faces painted by

Storm and Pink Eye!

Wednesday was our rough day. Sam woke up with pink eye (it was gross). So, I spent the morning in a panice calling the Dr. and finding a pharmacy close by. Rambling Road and CVS saved the day, I had drops by 10 am. My Grandpa gave me a ride and we faught the island traffic back. Luckily it was a yucky day so we weren't wasting sunshine!
Grandma read books to the kids, Sam and I went in the hot tub, Dan took a little nap...and who knows what my Dad did (he doesn't sit still).

Looking for creatures at night

Sam fell asleep with Grandma and Tyler, Dan and I went looking for creatures down by the gulf. Tide was so low that there were even sandbars that the two of them walked out too. It was 11:00 at night and super dark. Dan put Tyler on his back and went out there. Stressed me out a bit...it is sting ray season. They found all kinds of sand dollars, shells, crabs and we even saw a perfect star fish. Can't forget about the jumping shell!

Family Pictures

We actually got Tyler to participate in family pictures. After the photo shoot, we headed to Hooters for our traditional family florida dinner. Since, I was little my Grandma and Grandpa took us all to hooters for wings one night. Can't break tradition and those greasy wings are the best!

After the Sun goes Down!

We had enough of the sun by 5:00. We headed up to the condo and took showers and got ready to hit the town for dinner, ice cream, shopping and sunset walks on the pier. In time square there was always street performers. Sam and Tyler loved the magicians. Our days always went way to fast.

This did end up all over her and me!

Watching the magician disappear

We grilled hamburgers one night...and just hung out at the condo

Grandma Carlson and Sam at Hooters the last night.

Pool Time

Sam was a fish...regardless of the weather or what the rest of us were doing she was swimming! From morning to night that girl was in the pool. By the time we left she was no longer "grandpa's little bobber....she was grandpa's little swimmer". No more swimmies for Sam. Tyler was all over the pool from day one. Grandpa and Daddy were throwing him all over the pool and he took it all with a smile on his face.
