Sams Favorite Things

I asked the kids to tell me their favortie things and I would find a picture to match...this is what Sam came up with! Candy was first on the list...so true!!!


Sam loves to sit and color, do crafts and draw us pictures. They are hanging all over the house.
However, we have problems with the make-up. I don't know why mine seems to disappear and her vanity keeps getting more full.

Tylers Favorite Things!

Everyday Tyler comes home from school and hops on the couch for Wild Kratts with Chris and Martin. He can tell you anything you want about animals. His favorite is the Perrigine Falcon. It is so funny.
Every book Tyler brings home from school is about dinasaurs. When he gets a new one his first question to me in the car is "Mom, guess what kind of book I picked out today?"....

Potato guns and Catapults!

It started with a little idea from tyler to catapult a rock...I offered a pumpkin and it lead to watermelons. It was fun!

Halloween...Our Witch and Vampire!

Lucky for us Uncle Jim and Aunt Rachelle were in town for Halloween night. The kids had a blast walking house to house...then handing it out. We had to shut the lights off an hour early because we ran out of candy AGAIN! After we were done in Lawton we headed to Haley and Mikes in Mattawan and got another hour in there neighborhood. Then Terra Nova and home. It was a great halloween except we missed Daddy!

Acorn Cupcakes with Grandma

Grandma came with a great idea for Tylers halloween cupcakes. They turned out great...Sam even got a few to bring to daycare.

Boo Zoo

Had and awful day at work and the thought of just heading home to hear the kids fight was killing me. When I pulled in Shannons driveway she was in her car sitting waiting for the bus. She asked if I wanted to go to the boo zoo....I jumped all over it. I rushed home got costumes and met her in Portage by 5:00. We were at Binder Park Zoo by 6:00. The kids had fun. Candy and animals! They were happy. ON the way home we stopped at Wendys for dinner with Shannon, Erin and all the kids. We drove seperate and on the way home we passed Dans exit and decided to call and ask if we could come visit. Tyler was so happy to see the machines working. He was sad that he couldn't finish daddy's shift with him.
It was a FANTASTIC night!
