Tan lines

Is this a sign that we HAVEN'T been inside YET this summer? Its even funnier without clothes on...but I posted an appropriate picture for everyone.

Silver Beach/St. Jo

Dropped off stuff to my new room in Coloma...which stressed me out a bit. It isn't my blue room at MAA!!!! This room is peach, yellow and pink...and is in desperate need of some love. The teacher before me had been in it for many, many years...and you can tell. Stuff has to go! I think painting will have to wait...but I have to do something.

After we went to Silver Beach in St. Jo with Courtney, Camy and Cole. We had a great day....of course!

End of Vacation-Whitecaps Game

On our way home from the Dells we passed and got in the traffic for the White Sox...which then gave me the idea to take Tyler and Sam to a baseball game. The Kalamazoo Kings were out of town so we headed to Grand Rapids for a Whitecaps game instead. Grandma Tonda camer with...it was fun!

15 year Class Reunion

The kids and I went to Grand Haven on Friday for the weekend. My 15 year class reunion was on Saturday evening at Porto Bello. It was a fantastic weekend!

The kids couldn't have had more fun in the pool. Grandma, Grandpa and I were even having good time playing! Bike ride to skoops, dingy ride with grandpa, and lots of ice cream.

Day 4 & 5-Wisconsin Dells/Play time

Holiday Shores Campgound!
With all the stuff to do we really didn't have to leave to have a good time. The toys in the water, the pool, the river/dells right behind us, you could rent anything you could think of wave runners, boats, golf carts, parasailing. It was a great place to stay. It was a bit hilly so not much biking for us...to much for Sam's little bike. Even the Jeep had a hard time with the climbs and going down led to a donut that Sam didn't like so much (but we laughed). It was about 5 miles from town which was perfect because when we were at our campsite we felt like we were right in the middle of nature.

Tyler was jumping (diving and flipping)from the top of this right into the water. When we left there was no need for swimmies for that kid. Even Sam was sliding down the slide right into the water!

Day 3-Wisconsin Dells/Kayaking

We got up in the morning and headed out to the water. OUr camper backed right up the the dells. Kayaking was beautiful, absolutely breathe taking. The sandstone cliffs, GODS work at its best! We actually went out twice, Wednesday and Thursday.

Day 2-Wisconsin Dells/Mr. Olympus

Pictures nor words can even come close to explaining how much fun we all had at the water park. So many stories that still put me in tears from laughter. From the tidal wave to the Sam struttin' her stuff around. Tyler and Dan never got out of Posidons Rage the huge tidal wave pool (Tylers favorite part of the whole park). I did get Tyler to get out to go down the big slide with me...that kid has no fear! Sam by the end was going down the big slides with me...of course right before it closed. We all loved the regular wave pool Tyler got to swim without his life jacket in the waves and Sam got to use a tube which cuts her fear down. The not so lazy river, bumper boats, slides, fake tattoos and go carts where all a blast.
The weather was perfect with the forcast saying rain the park was empty with no wait for the rides. Of course, the weather man was completely wrong. It was low 80's and completely cloud covered...we were never cold but it was nice enough that I got a starbucks coffee when we were watching the kids play in the little tyke area. PERFECT!
13 hours later we were back to the campground!

Day 1-Wisconsin Dells

I am going to post one day of vacation every night until I am caught up. So, here is day 1 of the Wisconsin Dells. We woke up and decided to check out town. We ended up spending most of the afternoon there. It was only a 5 minute car ride from the park to downtown. We drove by all the parks, checked out a couple stores and ended up on the Original Wisconsin Ducks! I think this was the best part for me. Who knew...going from truck to boat could be so fun. It was a great way to see the Dells! We saw deer, heard the cheesy jokes on the boat along with some great historical stories of how the dells came to be. Tyler fell asleep for a few minutes at the end. Samantha of course was scared through most of it. I loved it!
Our tour guide was from Kalamazoo!

After dinner we headed back to town for some shopping! Tyler and Sam got to spend the money Grandma and Grandpa Dingy gave them (on candy). We went in all the tourist shops and the kids went through the mirror maze. It was a fun evening regardless of the rain.
