Coloma Homecoming

What a beautiful night for a football game. I picked the kids up early from school, ran home to let the dog out and wait for Dan. Then off to Courtney and Mikes. We walked down to the parade and then to the athletic boosters speggetti dinner. From there we went to the game. What a great night. Tyler played football in the back field with the big kids. Sam ran around with Camy all night. ALL the kids actually got to ride on the sophmore float with some former students. THEY were ALL SMILES! Sam even work up Saturday morning chanting GO SOPHMORES! I love this part of my job!

Picture Week

I got to snap a picture of Tyler because he was so excited about his tie...even if he was 1/2 awake. It was to early for Sam to want to see a camera in her face.

Family Portrait

After the football game we came home and hung out....then got ready for our first family portraits. The sun was shining and it was the perfect afternoon for some pictures in a local vineyard. The kids looked all grown up. Can't wait to see them!

Go Bears #9

Fooball startes out cold and wet....but with some sunshine, a great sign and big smiles its a great way to start a Saturday morning. Tylers grabbed two flags in his first game and had a GREAT kick!

First full week finished

I hate throwing the kids school work away. However, I just can't keep everything. Therefore, I am going to take pictures first. Makes me feel better and lets you guys check out what the kids are up to in school. Sam is now spelling her full name (which I forgot to teach her) and Tyler recieved his first A+ for the year on his spelling test. I sure love my smart kiddo's

Charlie brought us a Chicken

Mom and Dad brought down the tires for the truck...DAd picked up in GH for Dan off Craigs List. Perfect excuse to hang out, put our new mower (anniversary present) to work. Then back to the house for Taco's Charlie finally brought us a chicken....she just wanted to play with it. .

Putt Putt

What a great way to spend a Friday night. A spur of the moment trip out to dinner and putt putt golfing. The kids and I had spent the day in St. Joseph with the Hahns playing at the beach. When we got home Dan suggested a night out. We had a blast! However, tyler did leave the golf course with a few band aides...What kid gets hurt putt putt golfing??? MINE

First Day of School

Dan took the day of school off for the kids. He was able to get them up and ready for school. He also got to pick them up. What a great day! It was easier for me to leave in the morning knowing he got to enjoy the "first" day. I also new I would get a few pictures too. Although summer is over, it is amazing to see how big by beautiful children are. Heres to another school year for us ALL!

Pigeon River State Forest

Our Labor Day weekend ended up being PERFECT. Sunshine, ghetto pop up, swimming and cooking on the fire! It seriously was one of the best weekends I have ever spent up there. Tyler found 100's of frogs, we went geocaching around Pickeral Lake, I swam accross the lake, and we saw deer...but NO elk.

Slumber Party

Sam has wanted to have Devan over for ever. So, before school officially starts we figured a slumber party was in order. AFter my professional development day on Thursday I picked both girls up from Shannons (Tyler too) and we came home to play. The girls had fun playing in Sams room, and sleeping on the blow up bed. They watched a movie and had popcorn. Sam was a happy girl!

Taden's 6th Birthday Party

We had a great excuse to spend a night in Grand Haven! Happy Birthday to Taden. Circus Birthday party was super cute and the fact that I got to sit and enjoy was even better. Spending the afternoon/evening with my grandparents, parents, brother and family....was awesome. Just missed Dan!
