Lots to do!

We sold the house in July.  FINALLY in October after an extremely long waiting game we closed and moved.  A government loan was not the first choice especially since the government shut down the week we figured the loan was going through.  We made it down to the hour!

By some miracle Bob and Starr had an apartment open.  Since, our first option was going to be to live in the camper this seemed like an upgrade.  The apartment may only be a one bedroom but we are making it work. Tyler on the couch, Sams mattress is on the floor (in front of the washer and dryer) and we have a queen size bed (the dog still sleeps with us) and lots of laundry baskets and shelving EVERYWHERE.  The drive to work for both of us is almost an hour.  We bought a beater of a car to help with gas!  Thank goodness I carpool.

I am surprised but being no mans land is more of a transition than I expected.  I have my days!!!!  We don't eat fast food now (bonus).... there is nowhere to eat.  Lots of eating at home, reading books, playing school and watching TV.  The kids don't seem to mind this at all....they actually are loving it, I think.  They get lots of playtime and mommy and daddy time.   We miss having a kitchen table....first thing we are doing when we move is eat TOGETHER at the TABLE.

We closed on the construction loan and the house has been ordered.  This entire process has seems like a waiting game....we hurry and then wait.  I am so excited to see dirt start being pushed around.  Sounds like delivery is the 2nd week in December and we are hoping to be in by mid February.

Tyler starts basketball next week.  Thus, the chaos will begin AGAIN and Dan goes out of town for work the first week.

Together we will make it!
