Memorial Day Weekend!

Memorial Day weekend. We opened up the camper at the property Friday night, weird not being at HLC. Saturday was rainy and yucky BUT Sunday was HOT and beautiful! We loaded the boat and hit Scott Lake! The dog even went swimming. We had a great afternoon. We ended the day with burgers and the farm and swimming in the pool. Then a fire and smores. Perfect day!

Party Time

After the recital it was birthday party time! We all headed to the house for BBQ's and presents. Sam was so excited to have a day dedicated to HER!

Dance Recital

Time to dance her heart out. Rehearsal was the night before and was rough...she didn't want to hold Sophies hand, didn't want to shake her booty and she even fell. I went into the recital scared about what might happen. BUT SHE NAILED IT! Absolutely amazing. It was a proud moment for this mom!

Picture day for dance! We went to Grand Haven for the weekend but rushed home and made it just in time. Rollers went in at 8 am and came out just before. She looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL....I am one proud Mom! Love that girl!

Lets Play Ball

Tyler is having so much fun and learning every night we play. We have had tears, a hurt heart, scrapes and bruises but lots of laughs. Its awesome to see Dan and Tyler out on the field together. We might not have a winning team but Tyler is sure happy to be playing! Sam and Devon!

PINKALICIOUS

You get what you get and you don't throw a fit! ~pinkalicious. Sam has ALL the books along with having ALL of them memorized. How could we ever miss the show? Grandma Tonda is the one who's bought Sam all the books and even her Pinkalicious outfit. So, Saturday (after the morning at the bells open house) we headed to the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre for the show. It was an awesome girls night. All dressed in PINK!

One of my students asked if I would be her SUPER FAN! Now I couldn't say no...nor could I disappoint. Therefore, I told her if she made the shirt I would wear it! So I went big! I put my hair in pig tails, bought green and gold softball socks, wore the super cute t-shirt....and even got out the cleets. I wore this the entire day. I love those darn kids!

Around the Horn

Tyler enjoys baseball so much that we decided to start him with a trainer at Around the Horn in Kalamazoo. He goes once a week for a 1/2 hour and gets one on one instruction. He absolutely loves baseball!

Tynes Wedding

Tyne and John were married at the Kalamazoo Country Club. Tyler had a birthday party in the afternoon, so Dan and Tyler met us at the reception. Sam was so happy to see Tyne and be with all of her friends. It was a fun evening. Even Tyler ended up on the dance floor by the end of the night. It was a beautiful wedding and once again I was reminded why I have the greatest daycare family ever
