New Years Eve

Ice Skating was fun for Sam...not Tylers thing! After skating we went to the Eccentric Cafe for lunch and then toured Bells. It was a nice afternoon hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa Dingy.
Unfortuately the evening didn't end as well. While having dinner Grandpa got a call from Aunt Carol. Grandma Nuismer was in the hospital and things had gotten progressively worse through out the day. She had gone in for pnemonia and it seemed she had a seizure. Grandma and Grandpa had to run back to GH. The kids didn't understand so they were really upset. Sam crying and Tyler quiet in his room, until his tears started too. It was a rough way to spend New Years Eve...but after talking to the kids they understood that mommy's grandma was sick and Grandpa had to go home to help. They knew that mommy was upset and we were going to have a quiet night. Sam and I did crafts and Dan and Tyler played battleship. We ended the night ALL of us in our bed....kids and I fell asleep at 11:45...Dan made it to see the ball drop.

Catapult

This is what we did all break...played together. What a great 2 weeks. Tyler loved putting this together...there was even a target!

Craft Night

Sam got all her Christmas crafts stuff out...glitter glue, paper, stamps, paint, brushes....you name it we have it! The three of us played while Dan ran to the sink and back cleaning up our mess as we made it. Lucky guy!

Sam and Charlie

Sam watching "Good Luck Charlie" with Charlie. Best Buds for sure!

Snow

We have snow!

Finger Painitng

THis is a little out of order. However, it needs to be shared. One evening a few weeks before Christmas the kids, Dan and I (and Charlie, the star) played with finger paint. So, fun and to cute! The beer is NOT this kids!

Making it a little cozy

I have to share our cute new (fake) fireplace we got from Grandma and Grandpa Dingy for Christmas. It has to do the trick until we move. I LOVE IT!

PLay time on Christmas Day

Thank goodness the roads were clear so the kids could play with the new bikes! Then it was a lot of robot making, battle ship and crafts for the day. Later in the evening Grandma and Grandpa Cow came over for coffee and pumpkin pie.

Christmas Morning!

Tyler came into our bedroom excited to tell us that not only had Santa been to our house....but he brought stuff that isn't even wrapped! Our mornings are quite organized...Dan makes coffee (in his new coffee pot from mom and dad) as the kids go through their stockings. Then one by one they open gifts. Sam kept saying "Thank you, I don't know what it is yet, but Thank you". It was so cute. Tylers Christmas consisted of robots, catapults, science projects and games. Sams was crafts, crafts, and more crafts I recieved an amazing pink ring from Samantha and a Paw Paw bracelet from Tyler Dan got a MSU penant from Tyler and a deer whistle from Sam. The kids were so pumped about giving us ours that they couldn't wait. They had to be the first presents opened! It was a great morning!!!!! tonda came over after the house was picked up and Sam made us all donuts with her new donut maker.
