Breakfast in bed

This is why people have children, right?  Gall bladders out and dan went back to work today.  Kids are raking good care of me.  They worked together to make me breakfast... who knows what the kitchen looks like.

Just a Saturday night

Dan worked all day putting up our glass/screen door.  It was beautiful out and needed to play.  So, out to dinner and a round on the go carts.  Great night!

More donkey time

We just cant get enough.  And if you notice either can the donkeys.  They were jealous that tyler was giving Kate all the attention so they were all over him.  He loves it.  I just csnt believe how big Kate is getting.  Also, this is our Saffire.  Isnt she adorable. Our little momma!  We love them both so much.

You went to Grandma and Grandpas for a couple days...and the house was so quiet.  You are such a ray of sunshine, and you bring laughter and joy to our house.   You are beautiful, smart and funny. 
YOU ARE ENOUGH! 
You will always be ENOUGH! 
The world will tell you, you aren't enough...but you are.  The world will tell you that you are not thin enough, that you are not tan enough, that your hair is not blonde enough and your teeth are not white enough.  However, YOU ARE ENOUGH!  The world will tell you that you are not smart enough and that you are not fast enough, or creative enough.  The world is going to try and change you.  My hope is that you always understand you ARE ENOUGH!
You are the sunshine on a cloudy day, you are the light in a dark room, and you are our everything.  It is absolutely mind boggling how important you are.  How much you are adored by all those around you and how much your smile and all that energy is contagious. 
Please always remember....YOU ARE ENOUGH!

Cherry Picking

After our morning brushing and walking the donkeys at the farm we went to pick cherries at Schultz's.  FIRST time for ALL of us.  Its was so much fun.  10lbs of cherries.

Mackinac Island

where to even begin.....We went up north camping and with the intention of going to Mackinac Island July 5th.  HOwever, Tyler and Sam had absolutely NO idea.  Tyler had been talking about Michigan history all school year along with the Forts of Mackinaw and Mackinac Island.  So, we surprised them with a trip to the island.  We woke them up early telling them we had to go get a few things.  I even had them get in the car in their PJ's.  WOW....when Tyler saw the bridge he was one happy BOY!  We had a fabulous day.  an 8 mile bike ride (which Sam kicked booty) stopped at Arch Rock, put our feet in Lake Huron, went for lunch, bought fudge and rested in the park.  A PERFECT FAMILY DAY!!!
